Chris Marchetti, CEO, Excel Group
Chris Marchetti is the Chief Executive Officer of Excel Courier, Inc., Excel Transportation Services, Inc., and Excel Archives of Virginia, Inc. Chris’s responsibility is to provide leadership and direction for all the companies of the Excel Group. Chris joined Excel Courier in 1984. One year later, he acquired the company and proceeded to sculpt Excel into a multifaceted business services organization serving the metropolitan areas of Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD. Chris’s penchant for providing exceptional service to his customers along with his buoyant management techniques account for Excel’s success and prominence in the Mid Atlantic region. Over twenty-two years have passed since Chris joined Excel. He continues to manage and direct the Excel group of companies on a daily basis.
Jeff Marchetti, CFO, Excel Group
Jeff Marchetti is the Chief Financial Officer of Excel Courier, Inc., Excel Transportation Services, Inc., and Excel Archives of Virginia, Inc. He is responsible for providing financial management and leadership for all the companies of the Excel Group. Jeff received his BS in Accounting from George Mason University in 1983 and began working with the Excel Group of companies in 1985. Jeff is a CPA with twenty-five years experience in accounting, auditing, taxation and management consulting services. Jeff's financial leadership has ensured that Excel moves in a positive and upward direction year after year.
Jeff Frederick, CTO, Excel Group
Jeff Frederick is the Chief Technical Officer of Excel Courier, Inc., Excel Transportation Services, Inc., and Excel Archives of Virginia, Inc. He is responsible for all aspects of Excel Group’s technical needs. Jeff joined Excel in 1988 and has built and managed Excel’s complex network of technologies. Jeff graduated from James Madison University in Virginia in 1984 with a degree in Management Information Systems (MIS). Eighteen years since he joined our company, Jeff continues to provide reliable and up-to-date technologies which enhance and compliment Excel’s service offerings to its customers.
Mike Koontz, COO, Excel Group
Mike Koontz, Chief Operating Officer, manages the day-to day activities of the organization with a focus on strategic, tactical, and short-term operations management. He is responsible for the development, design, operation, and improvement of the systems that create and deliver services. He joined Excel in 2001. Mike, a US Navy veteran, has more than twenty years of transportation, warehousing and logistics experience. His international logistics experience began with British Aerospace and Deutsche Post Global Mail. Mike's focus is on all aspects of management to help achieve the goals for growth and expansion of the company.
Stacey Marchetti, VP of Marketing, Excel Group
Stacey Marchetti, our Vice President of Marketing for Excel Courier, Inc., Excel Transportation Services, Inc., and Excel Archives of Virginia, Inc. is responsible for Excel’s corporate image and corporate communication. Stacey’s prior experience in marketing in the business service sector is a plus for Excel in its campaign to inform the Mid Atlantic region of Excel’s service offerings. Stacey is also charged with the management and organization of Excel’s disaster recovery program so that our company is prepared to serve its customers at all times. Stacey’s methodical and tenacious approach to her position keeps the Excel Group of companies on track. Stacey joined Excel full-time in 2004.
